About

How the league works

The Croydon Monday Darts League is a pub and club darts league played on Monday nights across Croydon and South Norwood. There are two divisions of six teams, and six players a side.

The season

Every team plays each of the other five teams in its division four times: twice at home and twice away. That makes 20 league matches, from late September to mid-March. The rest of the season is cup rounds and competition nights, finishing with Finals Night in May. See key dates.

Matches start at 8:30pm. The first team named in a fixture is the home team, and the match is played at their venue.

How a match works

Each match is 13 games, played in this order:

  1. 1Team game — all six players
  2. 3Pairs
  3. 2Triples
  4. 6Singles — best of 3 legs
  5. 1Team game — all six players

Both divisions play the same format.

Points and tables

  • One point for every game won. An 11–2 win is worth 11 points to the winners and 2 to the losers. There is no extra bonus for winning the match.
  • Because there are 13 games, a match can't be drawn.
  • Teams level on points are separated by difference (games won minus games lost), then by matches won.

The tables on this site are worked out automatically from the results, so they're always consistent with the scores.

Sending in results

Both teams text the result after the match, then send the result card (scanned by email or photographed on WhatsApp) to the league secretary by midday on the Wednesday after the match.

Captains know the details. If you're not sure who to send it to, speak to your team captain.

Postponed matches

Postponed matches show as Postponed until a new date is confirmed. The league sets deadlines for playing cancelled fixtures: 28 December for phases 1 and 2, and 22 February for phases 3 and 4.

About this site

This is an unofficial site, made by a player in the league to make fixtures and tables easier to read on a phone. It isn't affiliated with or endorsed by the league committee. Everything here comes from the league secretary's sheets. If the two ever disagree, the secretary's sheets are right.

It deliberately shows teams only: no player names, no player stats and no personal contact details.
